COVID 19 Response

November 2020 COVID 19 Business Continuity Update

November 12, 2020

Although there has recently been good news regarding potential coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, Copiers Northwest’s management team remains dedicated to the health and safety of our customers, employees, and other business partners.

Copiers Northwest has been deemed an essential business due the fact we support so many other essential businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest. We take this responsibility seriously and will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal authorities. Steps we have taken to protect customers and employees include:

•        Temperature Screening Kiosks—We know businesses are eager to continue being open while ensuring the health and safety of their customers, clients, and employees. That’s why Copiers Northwest chose to add Temperature Screening Kiosks to our product offerings. There are multiple models from tabletop to free standing units along with various pricing options. Copiers Northwest has only been representing these products for less than six months and has already sold over 500 units.

•        Service Technicians:  There are times when Copiers Northwest service personnel need to be on-site and interact with our customers’ employees. In these cases, Copiers Northwest‘s technicians adhere to strict protocols of wearing personal protective equipment, cleaning equipment before and after servicing it, and physical distancing. An important reminder is that historically over 25% of service calls can be remedied over the phone. Our hardware help desk can be accessed by calling 800-244-6405.

•        Sales Representatives:  Will always call in advance before a meeting and follow the same protocols when visiting customers and prospects. They also have the necessary tools to operate remotely with the use of email, Skype, Zoom, Teams, DocuSign, etc.

•        Home Office Printer Specials—Many of our customers’ employees have been working from home and continue to do so. Therefore, we’ve offered our customers special sale prices on home office printers including discounts for those purchasing large quantities for their employees. We offer free delivery to many locations and include all necessary supplies required to start printing immediately and be productive.

These are just some of the steps we’ve implemented at Copiers Northwest during 2020. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at contact@copiersnw.com or call us personally at 866-692-0700.

Sincerely,

March 2020 COVID-19 Information

March 17, 2020

Dear Copiers Northwest Business Partners:

Due to recent events involving COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, we want to assure you that Copiers Northwest has a thorough and comprehensive business continuity plan in place to protect our employees, our customers, and our business.

We have formed a business continuity management team who are meeting on a daily basis to ensure the timely and appropriate sharing of information based on verified data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the U.S, as well as state and local government.

Despite the market disruptions caused by the COVID-19, Copiers Northwest is committed to maintaining its business operations and ensuring its customers continue to receive the highest quality products and services. Copiers Northwest has a robust distribution channel with inventory and logistics operations spread throughout the Pacific Northwest and, consequently, we do not currently anticipate prolonged disruption in the delivery of our equipment, supplies or maintenance and repair services.

Concerning shipments from China the CDC advises: “In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.” In addition, much of the inventory and parts in our system has been in our Pacific Northwest locations for months.

If you have concerns about a Copiers Northwest sales representative visiting your facilities, please contact your representative. We have asked our sales representatives to call in advance of any meeting. Our account managers have the necessary tools to collaborate remotely via email, Skype, DocuSign, etc. and have been authorized to do so and will work with you to develop an alternative that alleviates your concerns. We also have a secure print center that can handle printing your outsourced print needs while portions of your staff may be home.

Our technicians have been well versed in the necessary precautionary measures needed to eliminate the spread of the virus. If you choose not to have one of our technicians visit, please call our hardware help desk, which historically has been able to eliminate up to 25% of on-site service calls. The hardware help desk number is 206.388.1596. Most of our administrative staff has the capability to work from home as well.

The health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees is our top priority and we will continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 and will adjust plans based on new information. For additional questions or concerns, please contact bcmteam@copiersnw.com.

Sincerely,

Gregg Petrie, President            Mark Petrie, CEO
