Copiers Northwest’s COVID-19 Plan for Our Customers

Copiers Northwest COVID-19 Plan for Our Customers

March 17, 2020

Dear Copiers Northwest Business Partners:

Due to recent events involving COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, we want to assure you that Copiers Northwest has a thorough and comprehensive business continuity plan in place to protect our employees, our customers, and our business.

We have formed a business continuity management team who are meeting on a daily basis to ensure the timely and appropriate sharing of information based on verified data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the U.S, as well as state and local government.

Despite the market disruptions caused by the COVID-19, Copiers Northwest is committed to maintaining its business operations and ensuring its customers continue to receive the highest quality products and services. Copiers Northwest has a robust distribution channel with inventory and logistics operations spread throughout the Pacific Northwest and, consequently, we do not currently anticipate prolonged disruption in the delivery of our equipment, supplies or maintenance and repair services.

Concerning shipments from China the CDC advises: “In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.” In addition, much of the inventory and parts in our system has been in our Pacific Northwest locations for months.

If you have concerns about a Copiers Northwest sales representative visiting your facilities, please contact your representative. We have asked our sales representatives to call in advance of any meeting. Our account managers have the necessary tools to collaborate remotely via email, Skype, DocuSign, etc. and have been authorized to do so and will work with you to develop an alternative that alleviates your concerns. We also have a secure print center that can handle printing your outsourced print needs while portions of your staff may be home.

Our technicians have been well versed in the necessary precautionary measures needed to eliminate the spread of the virus. If you choose not to have one of our technicians visit, please call our hardware help desk, which historically has been able to eliminate up to 25% of on-site service calls. The hardware help desk number is 206.388.1596. Most of our administrative staff has the capability to work from home as well.

The health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees is our top priority and we will continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 and will adjust plans based on new information. For additional questions or concerns, please contact bcmteam@copiersnw.com.

Sincerely,
